Circle of Light Gala

The Circle of Light Gala, an event held annually by the folks at the Darkness To Light child advocacy program, will be from 6:30 to midnight tonight in Marion Square.
MTV Chi, the network behind the event's Asian theme, will be filming live, so don't be afraid to look your best.
The night will feature several live performances, including a Japanese Taiko Fusion band, Zero TaiKo, and the debut of the program "Darkness to Light," composed by Dan Mackenzie and performed by 30 local children.
One of the evening's highlights will be the presentations of this year's Voice of Courage awards to CNN correspondent Amy Berg, the reporter behind the critically acclaimed documentary about child sexual abuse, "Deliver Us From Evil."
Top-tier food and drink will be served during the event by some of the areas finest restaurants. There will be a fundraising auction during the event featuring vacation packages and more.
The price for tonight's event is steep, so pull out the gold Mastercard if $300 isn't just a "drop in the bucket."
