Six rooms reflecting the personal styles of local media celebrities plus the latest design trends will be displayed at the Charleston Home + Design Show, Friday through Sunday, at the Gaillard Auditorium.

'Celebrity Designer Rooms' will be a fundraiser benefitting six local charities. Each charity will receive a donation from New Home Charleston, organizer of the show.

Get an insider's view of the celebrities' tastes and decide if their on-air images match their interior design styles.

Visitors also can cast a vote for their favorite room. The top vote-getter will receive the proceeds of a silent auction for the furnishings - more than $10,000 last year - in addition to a $500 donation the five other charities also will receive.

Morris Sokol Furniture will design a living room inspired by Tom Crawford, ABC News 4 chief meteorologist, to benefit Goodwill. Bassett Furniture will create a master bedroom reflecting the tastes of Justin Lock and Ryan Nelson of Channel 4's 'Lowcountry Live' to benefit Darkness To Light.

Tippy Toes will do a child's room to suit Angela May, host of Channel 4's 'Good Morning Charleston,' to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Danco Furniture will design a contemporary living room inspired by Leo Windham and Alison Keller, hosts of the 'Y Wake Up Show' on 102.5 WXLY, to benefit the Center for Women. Lowcountry Home Furnishings will furnish a master bedroom to suit T.J. Phillips, host of 103.5 WEZL, to benefit Sea Island Habitat for Humanity. Spare Room will create a guest bedroom for Kain Cameron, morning show DJ on The Drive @ 100.5, to benefit the John Ancrum SPCA.

The rooms will be displayed at the Gaillard, 77 Calhoun St.: Friday 11 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is covered by the $7 show ticket. Call 577-7652
