Anne Lee Named Finalist in "Volvo for Life" Contest
Anne Lee, President & CEO of Darkness to Light, has been nominated for this year's Volvo for Life Award. This is the 5th Anniversary of the awards. The top 5 heroes from the past 4 years were selected from each state. In a departure from the way the contest has been held in the past, this year, the entire country is invited to select the finalists. To vote, just go to the website, www.volvoforlifeawards.com. Deadline for voting is February 4.
The Finalists each receive $25000 for their organization. $25000 could provide nearly 1700 online scholarships for our Stewards of Children(tm) child sexual abuse prevention training. It could train 70 instructors who could then go out and teach Stewards of Children to their respective communities. $25000 could purchase 2500 workbooks. The possibilities are endless.
We are asking everyone who truly wants to put an end to child sexual abuse to click here and cast their vote for Anne Lee. Then register to take the Stewards of Children training program online. It's that easy. It's that important.
