Darkness2light.org Accessibility
Darkness to Light strives to make it's website accessible to all users. We use the following guidelines to develop our site:
- We design the site to fit on a below-average size monitor (less than 775 pixels wide).
- We monitor Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) and adhere to best practices to the best of our ability
- Our website contains over 600 pages and is over 5 years old. All new pages and content follow theWeb Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 as of June 23, 2005. A quick synopsis of guidelines is given here, but basically
- We use the alt tag on images
- We do not use image maps
- We create links that make sense when read out of context
- Our information is organized in a clear and logical fashion and in a consistent structure
- Alternative content is provided for DHTML (Javascript)
- We do not use frames on our website
- We value your feedback! We read most emails that we receive (although we cannot guarantee a response). Please email tech@d2l.org with questions, comments, concerns or feedback. Thank you!
